Movie of the month [March 2010]
I'm so sorry to keep disappearing on everyone..again T_T March was a veeeerrrrry tough month. Well it's time to move on. After all it's a new month and things have been looking up so far.. I'll talk more about it later, f-list (but please dont hold it against me if I suddenly disappear again u_u")..
Movies of the month (I can't stay long so I'll keep it short this time..)
1. Dead Set
Okay it's not a movie, but a 5 episode E4 British miniseries. It's mostly set in the Big Brother studio.. and there's a zombie outbreak in England. It's almost as awesome as 28 Days Later so if you're a fan of 28DL and zombie movies and have missed out on this gem.. LOOK FOR IT NOW! You also have to see it if you're a fan of Big Brother as there are cameos from some past contestants and... you get to see Davina McCall turn into a flesh eating zombie!
2. Invictus
Inspiring. Great acting. Rugby. All Blacks! Jonah Lomu! I must admit I was very young when events in the movie actually happened. But I remember that it was around that time that I started being a fan of the All Blacks. But in this film you can't help but root for the Springboks.
3. The Lovely Bones
A serial killer movie that focuses more on the young victim whose life was taken too soon and her family. Touching. A bit different from the usual & unexpected. Beautiful. Made by Peter Jackson.
4. How to Train Your Dragon
Didn't expect to like it but it was a fun ride. The flying scenes looked amazing.
5. Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny
(Guitr loving) Friends forced me to see it. The songs are really catchy but the lyrics are certainly not for everyone. The story is quite pointless but hilarious. Lol. Jack Black at his craziest. They must have been high while making this movie.
6. Alice In Wonderland
Wasn't as good as expected. But it wasn't boring or bad at least. Quite so-so.
Didn't like.. The Hurt Locker. Kept looking at the watch wondering when it will end. Maybe I'm just tired of war movies.
Wtf movie of the month.. Symbol. It stars Hitoshi Matsumoto (the funny bald guy from the Japanese owarai Downtown.. he's the reason I watched this xP). This movie is so weird and random it's impossible to explain! Matsumoto wakes up in a white room with no exit... then there's cupid's penises thingies on the walls and when he presses them random things come out of nowhere.. and he tries to escape using them.. and there's a mexican wrestler and his sister who's a nun who swears a lot and drives a truck..
...okay I give up. (maybe you can tell that I wrote this in a rush)
