Hoy, 09 de agosto, se marchó en Chile por una educación gratuita.
Yo caminé más de tres horas, gritando, bailando y conversando con mis compañeros. Éramos más de 150.000 personas, pidiendo algo que es justo, algo que merecemos. Cuando la marcha terminó nos fuimos sin causar destrozos y sin molestar a nadie, aunque, en partes, respirábamos aire contaminado por lacrimógenas.
Ninguna de las personas con las que marché se cubrió la cara, porque no tenemos nada que esconder. Si doscientas personas sin nombre causaron destrozos, hay más de cien mil dispuestas a dar la cara que no lo hicieron.
Nuestra marcha fue pacífica, las noticias nacionales quieren mostrar lo contrario con la excusa de unas cuantas personas que causaron desmanes, cuando hoy, 09 de agosto, más de 150.000 estudiantes pidieron justicia en las calles, justicia que se niegan a darnos.
Seguiremos pidiendo educación gratuita sin cubrirnos la cara, porque no hay vergüenza en pedir lo que debería ser nuestro.

I walked more than three hours, shouting, dancing and chatting with my friends. We were more than 150,000 people, asking for something that is just, something we deserve. When the march ended we left without causing damage and without disturbing anyone, although, in parts, we breathe air contaminated by tear gas
None of the people who marched with me covered his face, because we have nothing to hide. If two hundred unnamed people made vandalism acts, there are over one hundred thousand willing to come forward who didn't do.
Our march was peaceful, the national news want to show the opposite with the excuse of a few people who caused troubles, when today, August 9, more than 150,000 students in the streets demanded justice, justice that we are denied.
We will continue asking for a free education without covering our faces, because there is no shame in asking what should be ours.
