I like your Chris. It’s good that he’s there for Jensen in a way that he needs right now. And it’s also good that Jensen is getting to hear from his family and friends what Jensen hadn’t seen, hadn’t been able to see, just after his accident. All pieces of the puzzle for him to fit together.

I love this (Chris makes me smile):

“Oh. I see,” Chris drawled, making the short words linger in the air. “Was your idea. Good to know it won’t bother you, him following your advice.”

At least Jared and Jensen surround themselves by smart people, and friends who love them. :)

Gosh, I love your way with words:

His mike fell with an uncomfortable thud but he didn’t hear it because his arms surrounded Jensen and brought him closer and arms that he’d missed more than breathing were holding him back, squeezing his heart back to life.

I thought you handled the intimacy between Jared and Genevieve well. Jared had to be lonely, missed the intimacy, and also had to be frustrated at getting only a taste of what his relationship with Jensen could be. I’m glad that he didn’t give into his baser needs, that he was aware of how much that could hurt all involved, and of course, he really couldn’t have done it anyway since it was Jensen he was craving… needing. I like your Genevieve, too.

I very much enjoyed reading about Jared at the convention and Jensen’s surprise appearance and I even got a bit of a claustrophobic feeling when the crowd started pushing for an answer as to whether there would be more Supernatural. I can certainly understand the fans’ reaction, I would probably be the same, but Jensen’s response was awesome… more salt! Yes!!

Lots of awkwardness back at the hotel room… kind of like a dance between them that’s not quite working out with stepped on toes and not in synch with each other. At least not yet.

One of my favorite lines in the story (and I know this probably weird but I still love it) is when Jared says to Jensen:

“Jesus Christ, you’re an idiot.”

I don't know, I guess it's because it's a wake up call of sorts.

Thanks! The convention sequence was written before I ever attended a con. But I wouldn't change it. It was pretty true to the emotionally charged atmosphere.

You always point out my fave lines. You are right ... that the 'idiot' line is very much a dual wake up call.
