... to the land of the free and the home of the brave! We're spending our last night in the States in a motel near the airport. The early part of today was spent checking out the town where my mom grew up. Later, hubby and I met up with
olivia23 and her husband. They graciously took us to the Swedish/American Institute in Minneapolis, then made sure we got checked into our motel. From there it was off to The Mall of America where they treated us to dinner (Thanks so much! It was wonderful food and even better company!). We sat and talked until the waitstaff's stares drove us off, then found the Starbuck's café in Barnes & Noble, where we had a cup or two of coffee and chatted some more! Very pleasant way to spend our last day of vacation.
