Addition to the Family
On Friday, L's daughter, A, gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. I don't have all of the vital statistics, but I do know that he weighed 5 1/4 lbs (2.4 kg). They did do an emergency c-section, as he was under stress during the birthing process, but after some tests, they couldn't find anything wrong. Yay! So, mom and baby are home and he had his first camera debut yesterday when we got the chance to see him on the web camera. I'll post a picture, just as soon as I can get one from grandpa. What's that? His name, you ask? Well, mom and dad are still deciding, I hear, so I'll have to get back to you on that!

In other news, we had a week with H and the 3Ms visiting. By yesterday morning, all had returned to their various homes all over the world. It was a great visit (more info and pics to come later) and now the house seems so empty. But, I won't have long to dwell on it, as I am back to work tomorrow and then we will have visitors again next week. Å & V (L's daughter and granddaughter) will come for a week and his mother and sister on Saturday (January 17th) to go to the opening night of the "New Year's Revue" that L is part of almost every year.
We'll back to my knitting! I have a baby sweater to finish today!
