Ok, so I had a less than stellar interview on Monday. Guy basically told me I did not want the job plus I got lost on the way home. Tuesday's interview went WAY better. Sounds like a great job, guy totally sold it and I got lost again! In my defense, the interview was in Chicago and it is hard to navigate on a good day. I was nervous about being down there on my own plus I had directions back to the expressway from the building I was in, not the parking garage where I finally found a space. On the plus side though, I got a call today from the guy in the city telling me to keep Monday open because they are looking to do another interview with me! I liked the sound of that job. Not the money I am looking for but it's close enough to home and doing the same thing I was doing two jobs ago with an up and coming company. I'm excited about that one.
I have another interview tomorrow. It's close by too but I don't know the company and I cannot remember even applying but I will go anyway and see what it's all about. The best thing? It's two towns over so no chance of me getting lost. Totally in my stomping grounds (as it should be). It's nice to know that something this week will go well. I mean, even if the interview sucks I will still only be 15 minutes from my house.
