Tomb Raiding! (I wish.)
I miss playing games lately, and watching people play games, so I decided to search on one of my most favorite games as a kid, Tomb Raider. I remember more than a decade ago, I was watching my brother play the first of the Tomb Raider series on our computer, and thinking how cool Lara Croft was with all the jumping, gun shooting, and sexy outfits. (lol) So now I checked Tomb Raider's Youtube site and saw the live demo of the latest game release coming next week:
Oh, I'm so excited! *u* (Not that I'm going to buy it any time soon. My poor old laptop won't be able to handle it. DX) I liked how the bow is like Lara's main weapon. It's nice seeing her going all stealthy mode instead of the usual shooting with guns she has. She also expresses more emotion, more fear here, since she's still an inexperienced archaeologist who is fresh out of university. Unfortunately, the Square Enix is still tight-lipped about the exploration parts of the game, so I can't comment on that yet. The combat parts look awesome though, so I suspect the graphics for the tomb raiding parts will too. *squees*
I've already heard of someone planning to upload a Let's Play on Youtube once the newest addition of the series comes out. He has also completed uploading his gameplay of Tomb Raider: Underworld recently, if you're interested in watching. It's a bit frustrating to watch though imo, because he keeps forgetting the keys in the first 10 or so episodes (My god, he kept forgetting which button is for crouching and which one sets the grenades! DX), keeps blaming Lara/the game when he flubs his jumps, not to mention it's also frustrating when you figure out what to do next before he does and you spend the next few minutes getting dizzy watching him look all around and trying to get ahead of himself. Half the time, I was thinking, "Stop QQing, dammit!" LOL. I'm looking forward to him playing the latest Tomb Raider game anyway, since he's the only one I know who is going to upload his gameplay on Youtube and hopefully his gameplay this time will be better. Much better.
