There really isn't much for me to report at this point.
Jeff is still looking for a job. He is taking his Civil Service Exam in a couple of weeks for a possible job with the state and he got a call about a possible contract job so we're hopeful. He is definitely teaching so that's good too.
Church stuff is going pretty well. I finally have a usable office. We're trying something new for VBS this year and doing a one-day event. It's going to take some serious pre-planning but I think we can do it and make it really successful.
I'm committed to setting new personal and professional boundaries and taking better care of myself. This includes setting office hours and trying to get all my work done during those hours, and really being serious about taking off at least two days a week and not working at all on those days (except for emergencies) Right now I'm thinking of taking Thursday and Friday but we'll have to see.
Things at home are pretty good. We had a leak because when the siding on the chimney was re-done they didn't seal it. Jeff and Ray fixed it, but now we have a brown spot on the bedroom ceiling and another little one in the living room so we'll have to re-paint those ceilings.
The dogs are good. They were wrestling around tonight and somehow Cocoa was winning. She nibbled on the end of Patches ear and he got her whole head in his mouth. Still, he was the one that spent most of the time on his back. They both know who is the boss!
In an effort to clean out, I'm selling all my Mary Kay stuff at cost. If you want something, let me know. At this point I'll take anything I can get for any of it!
I'm being crafty again. Stay tuned for more details around the end of the month.
I still want a vacation. We went to the lake last month and it would have been nice, but Jeff wasn't feeling well so we were both a little cranky. Recently he got into some poison oak in the back yard and is COVERED in a nasty reaction. He's healing, but it'll take a while for it to all go away completely. Maybe once he is finally better we can try going to the lake again.
