woohoo!!
i am officially a functioning member of society...i got my first paycheck today!! it is glorious. it included a fat signing bonus...and my next check will include a CPA passing bonus to boot. i heart having money!!
blake got into town today, so i will be catching up with him and his dad after work for some dinner and the like...tomorrow there shall be a giant fancy dinner where i can flaunt my newfound wealth...we will celebrate scotty and i getting paychecks and bill's first day on the job. goooood times.
my boredom at work has finally been broken up by some menial work that one doesn't really need a college degree for, never mind a graduate degree, but it involves organizing things and it keeps me from playing computer games all day. score.
speaking orf computer games, this is SO addicting. and sad. it's a game where you are a waitress and you wait on tables. i am AWESOME at it. but it is a bit ironic that at my new job i play a game which simulates my old job (which i hated). but it passes the time...you can easily drop an hour playing it without even realizing it. here it is:
