Actually doing something productive with my time
Well, not exactly productive but I did manage to make something with all my spare time. For Christmas, my parents gave me a nice expensive knife rack and after balking at the price they were asking for a magnetic wall-mounted knife holder, I figured I could do one better and make one. Here are my knifes, arranged in all their cute glory:
And to continue the Alice-in-Wonderland decoupage theme that Idit and I started long ago, I included a tea party on the rack itself:
It can barely be seen but trust me when I say it's cool. In any case, the rack is not quite what I wanted but a good first iteration. The magnets inside need to be oriented better so that the whole thing will be stronger. But, in the meantime, I'm quite proud and happy with it.
