The power of positive thinking?
Ahem... so I had this weird white spot on the back of my throat that didn't hurt and I didn't have a fever or anything but it looked bad enough for me to go to the clinic. The doctor there said it was fungal and gave me some stuff. Out of laziness and distrust for "the man" I have not yet filled out the prescription. But the spot was getting bigger and bigger and beginning to annoy me. Last night (after hookah) as I fell asleep, I imagined willing all the fighting cells in my body to that place in the back of my throat. And then I thought nothing of it. And then I woke up and the spot is gone. As if it were never there in the first place. Modern medicine can suck it!
