I am so excited.
Something that I have been dreaming about since middle school is thisclose to happening.
I AM GOING TO FRANCE!

Saw your post in HoustonTX about passport info, I have a trip myself comming up VERY soon, it was a impulse decision to go to Canada to see a friend. The info everyone posted had me just as confussed as reading the .gov websites! and since everyone had gotten thier passports months ago, I was wondering if you could share your experience with me? Figure it would be best to hear what is needed to be done.

I ended up going to the Fort Bend County courthouse in Richmond, which isn't TOO far from my home. There was no line, no wait at all in fact- and the whole process took about 15 minutes, top.
Post offices will most likely ask that you schedule an appointment- here is a link to page that I think will help you out. :o)
