Hello all, today was rather relaxing!

I dozed off on the couch at like ten pm... Most comfortable couch ever... Woke up at like eleven am today

First couple hours of my day were spent fiddlijg about with my aunt's iPad... Which I have covertly named "marPad" because I am a total narcicist. It's a bit weird that she can afford to buy a 32 gig ipad so easily...
It's also kind of funny to me because my 32 gig ipod didn't cost nearly as much and can do just as much. Kind of.

Meanwhile, I made a sandwich. It was delicious.

Bro dude wanted a burrito and I scored some rather nice coupons for El Pollo Loco. So we went over there and discussed the question of whether or not college is really worth it anymore because I've opted to spend my time accomplishing things like short stories and business ideas rather than take all of the extra courses required.. There's just simply not enough time to do both the required honors school classes as well as completing my double major in four years!
So my stance is that college is a good thing and will help most peiple seeking a way to better themselvs.. In the sense that it'll let folks gain a more complete set of knowledge both of general education and a particular subject. Some career paths, however, such as human resources and networking would benefit far more from delving into the real world instead. Furthermore, I'd say that most majors don't really need graduate school if you don't intend to teach the subject or become a librarian or something. Mostly just the sciences and a few choice others.

Anyway, after this, we headed to a nearby Walmart to find a cheap srt of rechargeable batteries. Costco does this stupid hing where they have regular batteries, and then the charger for some obscure company we've never heard of, no batteries from that aformentioned company, and then enetgizer rechargeable batteries without the energizer charger. It really just doesn't make much sense at all!

So we checked out the pricing for the battery chargers and went with a standard energizer one with four AAs in it. Also picked up some velcro (because I've this strange idea to use velcro to silence velcro.. It's a bit weird) and some pasta sauces.

Also, since one of my hallmates lost my tripod, I checked out the pricing of a few of the Targus ones to find the one closest to my own. Took a few pictures and I guess I'll send them after I check to see if the local radioshack (where I originally got it) has it at a cheaper price. Hmm I guess I've a bit of biking to do tomorrow. I could pretty much rattle off any price I wanted, but that really feels unfair, so I'll go check to find the most accurate price. So far, it's in the $30 area.

After this, we headed home.. A bit later, my aunt showed up and a fair bit of time went into explaining youtube and how she could watch the Thai dramas she wants so much...

I'm actually in a bit of a strange conundrum right now. So a while ago, my uncle bought a house and paid for it entirely out of his own pocket, but decided to put half of it in my aunt's name for the sake of safety. Since then, he's gone to prison from gambling habits, and she's pretty much treated the house as her own and just makes money off of it be renting out the house in front And the one in back, while living in the middle one (it's a bit weird since there are three houses in the plot of land). So my uncle's pissed at how she's never repaid hos hard work and wants a share to at least make up for how he paid for the whole thing in the first place. So how do bro and I play into this? Since he wanted to support us after my father died (they were apparently really close brothers), he decided that his official half should belong to us... Technically it's only in bro dude's name because I'm still a student. So he's angry and making demands and is now about to sue if she doesn't agree to actually give us half of the profits being made from his house. I know my uncle has the far better case and is way more likely to win in court, but I really don't want to be involved... I'd say that my aunt's a fair bit crazy and really doesn't think much of the world around her, but I still want to stay on everyone's good side. Hrmph..

Unm, made some pasta and whatnot with bro dude.

Read this month's Popular Science magazine. Very cool articles about energy consumption and sustainabilitythis month :D

And time to snooze before midnight!

Zot!
