Mother admonished me severely for not visiting during the New Year period. While I stand by my decision, I suppose a brief make-up visit is in order. I need to restock on some kendo supplies, anyway.

I had a good trip home. Mother berated me for not making the trip sooner, but was soon distracted by trying to feed me all manner of things. I have brought some of the treats back to camp to share. My nephew also recognises me, which is surprising considering how young he was when I left. It was a good visit.
