(no subject)
I take care of a 1 year old M-F. The family is finally getting a carseat for my vehicle on Monday. Which means freedom after 2 months of being limited to places within stroller distance prior to this. Both baby and I are pretty much over going to the same nearby parks and outdoor mall every day.
Only, I don't really know where to go now that a car is part of the picture. I work in Del Mar (Del Mar Heights Road off the 5) and don't know that area at all. For now mom wants us to stay local. She is a non-walker still, though she is working hard on changing that. I'm looking for suggestions for indoor play places, parks with toddler friendly play areas, low cost "baby & me" type classes or near by libraries that offer baby song/story time. We already go to the one at the Carmel Valley library. She is not a fan of being in her stroller for more then 30 minutes or so so I'm not really looking for places we can go for walks. I'd love suggestions for places where she and I can actually do things outside the stroller. I'm Googling and hitting up Yelp, but I'm not getting much help that way.
I'm pretty shy so for now I am not looking for things where groups of moms get together to hang out and talk while the babies and toddlers play.
