Gas Prices, new meaning why they suck

So it's been a long time since I've updated in here.  Last weekend I went to Columbus with my sister, saw Rent, which was wonderful, except for the girl who played Mimi, I didn't like her voice, but everyone else - amazing.  Also found this huge ass shopping arena (is the only way to describe it) and spent lots of moeny and filled up our stomachs with "not in Lexington" food - California Pizza Kitchen, Cinnabon, Panda Express, and The Cheesecake Factory.  We're planning a trip in August to go school clothes shopping because it's only an 8 hour drive, which is not a bad day-trip.  Then came home and spent all my time working, going to class, sleeping, or working on my English paper.  I made it 9 pages long.  I hope I get a good grade on it, because the grade on that paper is going to basically be what I get in my class.  Found out I have no sociology test because since I have an A in the class I don't have to take the final (which would have been easy anyways).  We had to have 293 points to have an A, that's including 15 points outstanding for a paper and 5 for an assignment... I had 307 before the 5 point assignment, which I had already turned in.  So that meant I didn't have to take the final or write the breaching experiment paper, which also was a huge relief.  I love that teacher and if needed, would take another class with her.  So two finals to go, and then summer school starts.  So now I'm planning for the summer, and trying to find a plane ticket for Jess to come visit me this summer, and I'm mad at the airlines.  In one year ticket prices have gone up 100%???  It was 200 some dollars every time I flew home from ASU (roundtrip).  And I flew into all the airports, just to see which was cheaper.  And this summer?  $350 to $450 dollars.  WTF???  Car gas prices have doubled (I remember getting gas for $1.77 some time last summer, now it's a miracle if you can find it for TWO 77) but does that mean airplane fares should go up so much??  Maybe we should both just drive to Texas and meet halfway.  :)  I'm only half joking.
Jobs for tomorrow - paying rent (thank god for atm withdrawels from credit cards.... thank god for pay day next week to pay off credit card debt)
Talking to Dad about tuition for summer school - apparently it's supposed to be postmarked by tomorrow??  Have I gotten a bill yet from UK?  NOOOO.  Glad I checked that one online tonight.  Everything to do with scheduling classes is why I hate UK.
