Engaged!
I just thought you all would like to know that on July 9th, I proposed to my girlfriend Rachel adn she accepted.
On July 9th, 2004, we took a trip with her sister and her boyfriend to the upper peninsula in Michigan to visit some of the sites. On the way back, little to anyone's knowledge, a change in our relationship would take place. All throughout the day, a local radio station in Grand Rapids, MI (WAYK/WAYG 88.3/89.9fm www.way.fm) a special message was being played to everyone who could hear it. About 6:43p.m. a phone call was in place for her to hear this special message and awnser a question that she never thought she would ever hear.
There is no rush in picking a date other than it will be in 2006 spring or fall (spring if she gets her way...bah)
I thoguht you'd all like to join in our happiness as we look forward to joining our lives under the name of our Eternal Father.
My hope for all of you is that you will not live in Christ alone. His love is enough for us to live, but no man is meant to walk this world alone. So I pray that for those who are without, that in God's time, you will find the mate that He has planned for you. May you pray now for thier protection, health, and right of spirit. For those of you who have your significant other, may you continue in the faith that God has given you and that may your relationships be honorable to God and be an example for those of us will make the same step.
