Fully Operational Work Station

As folks might be aware, I live in a Hudson Valley High Ranch, sort of a regional kind of Split Level ranch. Short version, no basement, and the lower level is on the concrete slab and dug into the hillside that saved us from flooding during recent storms, including Sandy. But that means the lower level, with forced air heating, is generally cool in Winter.

No, I lied. It can be frakkin' COLD.

After I cleared out a couple of rather large projects, have a little flex in the Studio. So, on a certain slow and decidedly cool day, I had occasion to have my polar fleece wrap and felt the need for... ART SNARK! The Force, with me, it is. Yes, this is how art guys relax- check out the previous post for Teh Artz. Turned out it makes a decent promo piece, too.

Yes, I AM a geek. But Return of the Jedi did have a few good lines.

Anyway, today, again a little slow in the Studio, and few of my clients are working today. Winter Storm Nemo, a collision between two already massive storms, gets to happen right over us, and there is nearly a FOOT of snow piling up outside, and will stop sometime tomorrow. May have the morning the frak off, then dig out in the afternoon. Sooooo... had a little time while the white stuff came down and we're confined to quarters.

I had showed the image off to one my networking groups and they kinda dig how it was made. So while I had said loose time today I played about in Photoshop and iMovie, and after a bit of noodling about, sent it up to YouTube in shiny 720p.

Came out pretty decent, but seriously, the Vangelis track makes it. Fun. Check it out.

Geek.

OK, back to Netflix and surfing Crashcourse World History. Check it out. SciShow too.

Banzai!

I'm also exploring a journal at Dreamwidth. http://samuraiartguy.dreamwidth.org
