This weekend was sweet. Friday, Amy and I took off for VTech right after Crazy Horse Lady's class. It was a nice 5 hour road trip to see Jeff. Jeff is the man, it's really that simple. He's such a great guy :-) We had fun, got a nice tour of gorgeous VTech, got some good food and good drinking in before coming back to the dorms to crash. Saturday morning, the tour continued, going to Jeff's frat house and walking around campus, and at one point we ended up in the bookstore and I ran into Jen Loman. It was really weird, the entire day I had the feeling I was going to run into her (VTech is huge, but it was a strong feeling). We talked for a few minutes and got to catch up a little bit, I hadn't seen her in forever.
We left VTech around 4. I wish the weekend was longer so we could have stayed, it was a lot of fun. We headed off to WVU to do some more partying, but not before getting dicked over. Some asshole cop (named M.S. Spicer, let's hunt him down) going the other way on the highway pulled Amy over like an asshole. We didn't know the speed limit, weren't going that fast, were from out of State, and Amy had never had a ticket before, and what does the asshole do? Gives her a ticket. We spent the next 4 hours being fired up and driving really slow. Bastard. Anyway, WVU was fun. More drinking while watching the Red Sox game at a party where some kid's mom was playing pong with him and his sister...very amusing, but weird. Then, we went to a club and back to the apartment. Amy's friends are cool kids, it was a good time.
Today, WE GOT A PET! He's a red betta fish we named Mr. Jones in honor of Jeff's party song this weekend. He's rad. I went over to campus to practice our dance for PKE tomorrow...a little Ice Ice Baby...it's a hot dance. We don't have Chem Lab for the next 2 weeks, which gives us 2 and a half extra hours free Monday evenings, it's sweet. Alright, I'm out, I have more cookies to make!
