Bad, bad fangirl (Or, I watched DT again)

I watched DT again today.
In case you didn't know, DT is my all-time-favorite episode. Still in first place, sharing the top spot with the Pilot, since way back when.
That scene in the cabin, "...But the truth is they don't need you. Not like you need them. Sam? He's clearly John's favorite. Even when they fight, it's more concern than he's ever ( Read more... )

The thing is, it's not everyone's comments, cuz I read about 2 or 3 that are not refur's, and they usually agree with my own opinion. Plus, I sometimes miss things, not being an American, and reading other people's reactions help.
Back when I was still part of the faNily, we had a couple of threads I used to love - the Dean Angst thread, the Family Matters thread (the pictures thread ;) ), where we kept digging at things and finding layers. Now, there are still layers here, but I guess I'm still looking for more. (I used to LOVE double meanings - like Bloodlust).
I think the WB site helped the excitement, too, cuz you had all those clues and watching episodes closely helped opening the trunk or whatever. Man, I miss that.
But I do seem to miss stuff here, and it's sad. I'm gonna watch the whole thing again s1-4. I just don't have the time right now, but I will.
...
You know what? I also think people like you spoiled me. There are such good writers in Fandom, sometimes I forget Show's writers don't have as much time (and money) as we do to get all the plotholes out.
(And whoever it is in your icon? Smishable. Totally smishable. *smish*)

Hee, that's my niece, Briella. Isn't she adorable?

I know what you mean. Before I had internet, I watched my shows, taped them, then watched them over adn over and over again, ended up loving something about everyone, because there was no point hating it if there was nothing to do but wait for another new one. And I was never spoiled back then either.

Now, I watch everything once, and spend the rest of the time analyzing it to pieces, because whatever I missed watching it, someone else points out, and it takes all the fun out of watching it and discovering it for myself. And then it's almost a competition, watching with intent to see something no one else notices or to see the hidden meaning before it's even apparent it will remain hidden, and... well, it's just not fun. If I spent the amount of time rewatching episodes as I do having people tell me what's happening and what it means, well, I'd probably be a lot happier.

Sometimes I really hate the internetz. But man, if it goes away, I'm lost. So, damned if I do and damned if I don't, I guess.

Edited to hopefully change icons, lol. Apparently not, lol. Hate me yet?

Well, I should hate you, cuz Dean's dying and Dean's turned into a kid, and hey, there's a fic you started AGES ago, and I don't even remember it, just remember you never FINISHED it, and UPDATE ALREADY, WOULD YA?

Other than that, nope. Don't hate you. ^__^
