Yes. That was the answer to another question, but whatever.
One of my characters had a dog. A tan labrador with a brown spot above its eye that looked like an eyebrow. The character met the dog as a kid, and they kinda adopted each other.
The dog's name was Pal, and for a while, he was the character's best friend. About 3/4 of the story, there's a fight where a monster threatens the character's life.
Pal steps in between to give the character a chance to escape. He died saving his friend.

I can't draw, and I can only wish someone would draw them.
I can see them in my mind, and I do my best to describe them in original fic (well, the relevent parts, anyway). I don't have any pics. * pouts*
