University stress
Hello Tumblr, haven't been here in over a week which seems like a long time! The reason? Revisions, exams, and sort of forgotten about this site.
So some updates:
-Had my Tourism and Business Environment exams which were multiple choice that I hate!! I over think the question and yeah doesn't go well. They were alright, think I have done enough to at least pass. A 2:1 would be lovely!
-I hate Jordan sometimes who did hardly any work to prepare, did the exam in 20mins and said oh that was pretty easy. Wrong.
-I got my Marketing assignment back..70/100 aka First :D :D 11 hours in the library was definitely worth it
-But my referencing was apparently wrong. I was in charge for all the assignments I have done so far...oops
-I understood something in the accounting lecture and actually got it right for once. Went to the seminar and was taught the same things but so much more complicated and I went back to being lost. Fml.
-During our very messy drunken Friday night a fire was almost started as Tim was frying chips and Luke, Ben and me decided to have a water fight..in the kitchen.
-The flat's level of communication has decreased to instead of walking to their room you just shout and hope they'll answer.
-Submitted my hospitality assignment after a weekend of stress. Went to the lecture today to be told that both the report and the presentation slides, that we haven't even started yet (its in a group), was due for 12oclock, but we wasn't clearly told this information in the past. Had a cry, Sarah and me wrote some emails, more crying, to be told that we had till Feb 4th. Need to rush through that now!
-We are on our final final warning with the cleaners who, the warden who was originally our friend, emailed us to say he's giving us spot checks to see how clean it is. If its a mess then we will get fined.
-Viewed my first house today with Alex, Angela and Hayley, and we fell in love. There was a box room but we can sort something out. Was about 5 mins walk away from campus, perfect. Floor One of our house got it! They came up to gloat after their phone call from the landlord. We wasn't happy.
-Ben and Jamie keep trashing my room as they fight in the corridor then end up in my room. Today as a result they broke a glass that I bought to replace the one that Ben smashed. Wasn't happy. As an apology they are going to buy me a new glass and bought me 2 bulmers cans and a box of roses. :3
-Still haven't seen Will around campus, typical when I want to see him I don't! Hopefully will bump into him Friday night *fingerscrossed*.
-Nor have I seen Felix, this is a good thing 'out of sight out of mind'
