Wednesday 7th January
This morning I was still bouncing and along with baby delivery, my new chest of drawers had also been delivered yesterday in my absence. Something was lost in translation as we assumed they would come ready made, but they arrived in 2 hefty boxes. Not to worry, Darron offered to construct them for me whilst I was working. That was until the drastic news that his Mum had slipped on ice and possible broken something. A rather hectic dash and they were out the door to assist.
News later in the day transpired she had broken her wrist and ended up in A&E throughout 10am until 3.30pm having the wrist attempted to be reset THREE times! Sounds like absolutely agony :(
Being delayed at work and then nipping to Tesco, I finally made it home for 7.30pm with a pre-cooked chicken and set about making a quick dinner before settling down for the evening
