Bad news, Darron went with his Mum to the hospital this morning to get the permanent cast put on and the doctors weren't happy with the results of yesterday's battle and want to operate. It was hoped this would be during the day but by the time I had left work this evening the operation had been delayed due to emergencies. Hopefully tomorrow morning she'll have it done.
I found myself feeling a little overwhelmed today and for that reason I cancelled an important meeting in the morning. It won't be delayed for long. I had hoped to visit Ivy this evening but there'll be plenty of other nights to go around. I'm still thrilled by the whole experience. I adore kids and without my own, I miss the opportunity to appreciate the family atmosphere, yet I really appreciate the freedom I'll have in the next few years to do what I want, when I want.
