It is a truth universally acknowledged that there is no weather so bleak and cold that some mindless chit of a girl will not walk around outdoors with bare midriff and shoulders. What boggles me about this phenomenon though is the lack of apparent goosebumps resulting from said exposure. I never understood this female urge - even when I was at school my day's goal was to get warm (but then our school was especially shivery in the winter months) - and it gives me goosebumps just looking at them.
