Hooray for DD Give three cheers and then some. She had her first competition today at the gymnastics club and won GOLD in her class. She got a proper medal and a chance to stand on a podium and grin like you've never seen. Mr wol has pictures and will link when he uploads them. Lord but I was nervous. Watching as a parent is much much worse than performing. She was quietly nervous too. I think it mattered all the more because she is so obviously the best in her little group in training that if she did not win it would be because she had messed up but she didn't and great and glorious delight was had by all the clan of Wol. Grandparents were there too which I think really meant a lot to her. Now she is off collecting celebratory pizza with Mr wol and I am blogging. BB had had enough of being still and quiet by the end of her little ceremony so I took him outside for a walk and we both ended up running laps of the outside of the hall cheering. PRIDE!!!!! *beams with* So pleased for her!

And wow did we need something cheery. The car seems to be turning up his toes, the drier has been fixed a third time and is still broken, and BB and I have split the week between us with a nice, cheery norovirus. Blech!
