I know. Why an I skipping with delight? Well this is the energy rating on the certificate for our current house and given that a) the criteria here are heavily weighted against older houses and b) it is impossible to insulate our damned attic and c) we were told we were getting a 'G' (worst out of a possible A-G rating) I am absurdly delighted. Heck one of our walls ends in solid rock and another is made out of lath and plaster (not mind you that we told the inspector that - did not ask), so not an ideal home modern insulation wise.
Still waiting to hear what the bank said to our buyer today. Sigh! I have a bad feeling about this. So irritating given that we sale agreed over 6 months ago now. Damned rotten stupid-arse bankers buggering up everyone's lives!
