With optimism and relief and after much thought, I am going back to Phoenix. Part of me feels really silly for moving here to begin with, but AIDS Walk has had a huge impact on my life and I'm super grateful

Good for you Sam! I am so excited for you to come home. Moving to New York was a very brave thing to do. Moving from New York back to Phoenix and leaving Ian behind is an even braver thing to do. That city just and the people in it don't have anything to offer you right now. Phoenix on the other hand, is waiting for you with open arms. We've missed you. I know you're going to rock the RENT auditions and I know Hero would love to have her daddy back.
