Disclaimer: This is not an AU of The Fault in Our Stars, but the author was a little bit inspired by it. The only similarities these two stories have is they meet in a support group and one of the two main character dies. Research was done by the author for the illnesses and this is based off the perspective of one who doesn't have the full knowledge of these things, so please keep this in mind when reading the story.

I loved this scene. I think you will to once you read the part where Jared invites Jensen to join his family to the balloon fiesta. At first I had wanted to show them kissing with the sunset behind them, but they didn't make it that far into thier relationship yet, so I stuck with the hand holding. I felt their friendship was being cemented at this point.
Tent Scene
Watercolor, Staedler Ink
I wanted to recreate the pose that is based off the book, so I searched and happened upon a pose I used as a reference for this painting. It fit perfectly with the tent scene (you'll read about this :)) This scene was wonderful as well as being the climax to Jared and Jensen's relationship. And yes, the bald one is Jensen, he looks odd without hair, but you know, he fits in the story.
I had fun creating these images and I hope you enjoy them too. I really wanted them to have a painterly feel this time round. I hope you all enjoy the story and be sure to comment the story. References used.
