Yep, that's right, I'm home again today.
Got sent home an hour early yesterday, via the chemist, as the combination of my back, a cold and being female was making it very difficult for me to concentrate on work. Got up this morning and felt crappy still, so I phoned in and went back to bed.
Lay there listening to the Radio One breakfast show, and then fell asleep at 10am when Jo Whiley came on...*grins* Woke up again at 1pm when her show finished and the news was on.
And what do I hear? That the proposed stock exchange floatation of the company I work for went ahead after all! So we're looking at quite a nice little dividend for us employees that joined before April *grins*
I wouldn't come looking to me for a sub though - I've not been there as long as most, and I have no idea what I'll get - or when I get it. If it's anywhere near as much as the apparent average payout, then I have some things I need to sort out with it.
*cringes at the corny Star Wars jokes on the radio*
Hmmm...I had more I wanted to talk about...can't think what it was though.
The phone rang a few minutes ago - caller display said it was an international call...*confused* The only person I know would call me from abroad generally looks for me online first - and doesn't know I'm home....
Heh...they're playing part of an old Star Wars radio play....very strange....Reminds me of the time we listened to the opening of The Two Doctors with our eyes closed...
