I'm thinking that we all put way too much pressure on ourselves this time of year. Everyone is trying to create that "perfect" Christmas, the silver screen version, the hallmark card expectations. I'm guilty of it too. And no matter how good a day it may be..it never quite lives up to expectations. And then, if by chance, the day is not great...

Merry Christmas to you Pearl, I hope you have a lovely day. Your words of wisdom (or is it pearls of wisdom?) are very true and very helpful. It is the moments we cherish and more than anything we need to keep the true meaning of Christmas alive in our hearts. (It means different things for different people, but love is the most important part of all.)
