I'm getting ready to start taking exams that will help me prepare for the Bar coming up shortly. I'll be honest with y'all and say I'm very nervous. I hear so many of my peers and friends talk about how they didn't pass the first time and how nerve racking it can be. Not sure how I'll do when my time comes. Please let me do well ( Read more... )

Please meet her before you make statements like "She's too young".

Allergy shots ladyfiona October 6 2000, 13:16:37 UTC
Allergy shots is what that woman was talking about. You must be tested first to determine the extent of your allergies, then they create a syrum just for you.

You get shots, once to twice a week usually for A YEAR before you notice the benefits.

Why do people do this? Because if you keep up with it, when you do stop the shots (years later) you will always be LESS allergic than you were before.

I totally understand the wanting a pet thing, I love my cat dearly. But you need to ask yourself this before you get a pet of any kind: am I home enough to take care of it? Just a thought.

Cats bagu October 6 2000, 14:36:33 UTC
I have been told that cats expell a type of scent (the thing that is lighter than air, for lack of a better word, that hangs in the air for several days, thus making people all sneezy). The amount of expellation depends on what type of cat you get.

I've been told black cats are the worst, but if you must get one in that color, like 1 of the 2 I have, get one that's a short-hair. It will cut down on the amount of fur you'll brush off it and be better for your allergic roomie all-round.
