Today I had my appointment at Stockton with Zach. It was a good time. Pam (the theatre chick) was really nice and basically told us that we are definitely getting into the school. She said all we need is a "relatively decent" GPA (which, after this semester, mine will be around a 3.0, maybe slightly lower) and your Associates Degree. We asked about the audition process and she flat out said we won't need to. She was like "most students have to audition, but I am assuming you two will be okay since you're both Students of Moxie's and she sets very high standards." SO we don't have to audition! It was so weird, she literally was congratulating us and was all like "I can't wait to work with you" and whatnot. Very awesome. She took us around the Performing Arts Center and showed us the 2 theatres and stuff and Zach is totally sold. We left and he was like "I DEFINITELY want to go here," so yayyyy. I am so happy cuz this is really the only school I want to go to. Although I am thinking about changing my reason for going there. I wanted to go for Theatre Education, but I asked Pam about it and she said I would have to stay an extra year and take all these literature courses and I don't know if I'm gonna wanna do that, so I might just go in as a straight-up theatre major, but we'll see.
Okay so even though I am itching to get out there "on my own," I am going to miss CCC. I mean, yeah there is a lot of petty drama and I dislike a lot of the people I go to school with, but I really feel like I am home there. I spend so much damn time at that school, it's gonna be weird having to re-adjust and try to fit in again. Zach and I met these two really nice girls though, named Melissa and Jessica. They came right up to us and was telling us about the theatre department and the students and stuff. They even gave us their screen names in case we had any questions. I thought that was really cool. AHH I can't wait to go there!!
Anyway, onto a completely different subject. I am REALLY starting to like this guy Travis, and it's driving me crazy. I seriously feel like I am 16 years old or something, getting all giddy over some older boy...but OMG...he is YOUNGER than me! Haha he is only 19, and won't be turning 20 until December. I think that is so cute. Soooo since he is a "Tech Guy," he spends a lot of time in the shop with Jeremy, the Technical Director. I started talking to Jeremy during tech week for the dance concert, and he is a really cool guy. Now everytime he sees me he stops and we have a conversation...but he's always telling me these completely random things about Travis and the stuff he apparently says about me, or pertaining to me. It's getting a little weird, cuz when I see Travis he's his normal jerkfaced (haha) self, but according to Jeremy he says nice things about me. Why can't he just tell me to my face? I don't understand guys.
