I will make myself feel better by adding the following information, since I am rather depressed by all the work I have to do:
1) I got, as Noelle would say, a 'big fat juicy "A"' on my aesthetics paper for Kivy.
2) My supervisor told me in a meeting earlier in the week that I write 'remarkably well'. ?! I'm not used to getting such an extravagent compliment about my writing and have no idea where it came from, but well, there it is. I won't disagree with him!
