I am off to a meeting in San Francisco for a week. I'll try to picture blog as I am taking my laptop and camera. This is the first meeting where we publicly disclose our biobased anti-corrosive coatings. There'll be a press release on Tuesday after my presentation. It's C&EN so I'm hoping for national coverage. When I get back, I'll be feverishly finishing our manuscripts to submit them to the journals.

I feel good! Better than I have in the past year and a half. No aches. No pains. No fatigue.

My rule of thumb for my first seeding of greens is when I see (and hear!) my first robin of the spring which happened Wednesday. I got a bed ready and seeded a big salad mix and added dill and coriander to the back of the bed. It's in the old bean bed so should be some good nitrogen and it's the most developed bed with compost every year.

I plan on observing the solstice equinox up in the hills above the bay.

travel, work, equinox
