Don’t get me wrong, I love y’all for it, but I just read through 3 days worth of posts and there were over 630 of them. Though to be fair, part of the blame has to go to the numerous amount of communities I watch. Every time I attempt to cut them down I just end up adding a load more in their place. Damn people being so interesting ( Read more... )

x-files is my religion, education education education, i hearts my f-list

Facebook! I am a self-confessed addict, it's quite pitiful :p Your third year courses look awesome - i'm trying to sort out the exact same thing at the moment, and all i keep coming up with is ecotoxicology and soil-plant relationships :\

I avoided it for ages because I thought it would just be another myspace, but I have to be honest, I'm liking it a lot more than I thought I would. My LJ is still my number one, though. *pets LJ*

Eeep, I have no idea what ecotoxcoilogy is, and soil-plant relationships don't exactly sound stimulating. :S

Yeah, myspace is definitely not my thing - but i do love the Facebook, especially being away for a year, it's nice to be able to keep an eye on people back home :p I do feel terrible for neglecting my LJ though - i never really have anything to say, but do still love the day-to-day goings-on of my lovely, teeny tiny flist!

Yey for interesting modules! ^^

And you're right about the hairstyles, it defnies a person and what s/he's feeling about him/herself a lot, I think, apart from how others percept it. But I'm sure you'll get used to it, and it'll grow back.

I'm so relieved I can actually do something I will enjoy now. It makes it all so much easier. :)

Those courses look really interesting, I'm happy you're feeling more positive now *hugs*.

I wondered how the hair thing went!

Thanks. *hugs back*

I felt really bad because I asked Peet to go with me incase he turned out to be a psycho who wanted to kidnap me, and she had to sit there for two hours! It took him forever! He kept going over the same piece of hair over and over, lol.

Ooo I am really curious as to what you would be reading for contemporary English novel! When I took 20th Century British Literature, we read Graham Greene, which was like a wetdream for me.

There's not a reading list on the module description, so unfortunatly I don't know what we'll be doing yet. I have to confess to never reading any Graham Greene. He's on my list, especially "Travels with my Aunt" because it sounds really interesting. Any recommendations?

"The End of the Affair," amazing novel. Absolutely amazing. It's really short. You can finish it in one day.

Thanks, when I have the money to buy yet more books (I have a list of 70 odd I own and haven't read yet) I'll see if I can get hold of it. I've added it to my list, at any rate. :)
