The Sad Little Fangirl and the Curse of the Honda
Heartbroken. It was a grand total of 3 corners Jenson Button lasted in this weeks race. :( It's so unfair. DC was doing amazingly...until his engine blew up. Same goes for Davidson. Webber had bits flying off his car left right and centre, both Red Bull cars deciding to fail just after I commented how much I like Red Bull as a team. If I decide I'm supporting Ferrari can they start being crap, plskthanx?
The only redeeming feature of the whole weekend was Lewis Hamilton managing to tie himself 1st with Alonso and Raikkonen for the Championship. ITV Sports bias towards the Brit drivers has never bothered me (It's British TV, we should be supporting out boys) and there is no doubt that Lewis deserves all the attention he's getting, though pretty much the whole 1 hour pre-race warm up being dedicated to him by excited fanboys was a bit much. It's just...Jenson deserves that too. It's not just my love for him speaking, he is an amazing driver, ask any F1 fan, and he doesn't have the car to get the points. Stick him in that McLaren or the Ferrari and he'd be winning everything.
