I am working on a couple of long-assed posts for you guys, but it's been a manic few days at work and my brain is kinda in the 'umph' place right now. So instead, have a meme.
1.Make a list of 5 things you can see without getting up.
My mum (I'm at my parent's house), Ty, Molly-cat, the fireplace and my sister's Graduation photo.
2. What colour is your hair?
On top, back to my normal blonde where the sun has lightened it. Further down a not-very-nice brown colour where the left-over Henna from winter still hasn't washed out properly.
3. What did you want to be as a child?
A midwife, or a writer. Or a writing midwife.
4. What was the last movie you've watched in the theatre?
Water for Elephants. Must get to the cinema more because seriously, that's kind of embarrassing.
5. What do you hear right now?
The beautiful sound of Formula 1 cars - I'm catching up with the race from earlier.
6. What's your favourite guilty pleasure treat?
Most sweet things. I have an unbelievable sweet tooth, I can't curb it. I can eat marzipan by the pack and not feel sick afterwards. It's a skill.
7. What are you thinking about right now?
My nose itches. I'm hungry.
8. Write the first word that comes to mind.
Head.
9. Dog person or cat person?
I defy your marginalising categories and claim to be both. I think I'm just an animal person in general really. I have a level of consciousness on par with them on most days.
10. If you came across £2000 (or other currency) would you keep it or turn it in?
What, on the street or something? I'd have to turn it in, my conscious wouldn't let me do otherwise. I hate that.
11. What was the last thing you bought?
Bedding for the hammies
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
EVERYWHERE. Right now I'm thinking somewhere right Thailand - a beach, lots of culture, lots of hippy stuff.
13. Who's your favourite fictional character?
It's always Scully ultimately, but the one I'm most obsessed with at the moment is Castiel. His arc is heart-breakingly fucking fantastic, I don't think I've ever had so many conflicting emotions about a character before.
14. What book are you currently reading?
"The Philosopher at the End of the Universe" It's hard going, taking me quite a while to get through. See above comment regarding brain umph.
15. What are you doing this weekend?
Weekend just finishing, I was on duty. Next weekend? One of my oldest friends is getting married! I can't wait.
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
The piano. One day I will be able to, I'm determined. I'd kinda like to play guitar too, but mostly because I have regular round-the-fire-on-a-starry-night-and-singing fantasies. In a past life I was a cowboy. Probably on Brokeback Mountain. Heh.

First one that springs to mind? "If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs....you've been misinformed". I'm not a big Kipling fan and therefore this bastardisation never ceases to amuse me.
18. What are you doing tomorrow?
Work during the day, then I have an exciting pile of ironing waiting for me in the evening. Cuddle the hamsters, watch videos from the Supernatural con taking place this weekend. I will probably squeeze fanfic reading in there somewhere. Yes, really, my life is that exciting.

Probably reading. I was that kid. Otherwise, the extended family used to go on a lot of bike rides all together through Cannock Chase, I have very fond memories of those weekends, and weekends spend messing around on windsurfers in Wales.
