it's a wig and a mustache taped to my face!

1. Guess what, you guys? I like TV! I know, shocking. I have been crazy, crazy lazy this week, because I worked six days straight last week and then the one friend I do things with was out of town (at Disney World, just trying to make me jealous) or working every time I wasn't, and so I've done a total of pretty much nothing that can't be done lying on the couch. But, what that includes is things like playing The Sims 3 pretty much constantly, watching Zachary Levi on Less Than Perfect on Lifetime (I really, really liked the first season of that show, but then I got out of the habit of watching it. But, guys! Zachary Levi! From Chuck! I knew, I KNEW that I'd seen him before Chuck!), learning some lessons from Saved By The Bell (it cannot be said enough, guys: caffeine pills are worse than CRACK), and falling in love with Kevin Jonas's comedic timing all over again on JONAS. I just...how did I spend my time before this weekend? I don't know.

2. Oh, hey, it's not actually the weekend! Actually, it was a Tuesday night/all of Wednesday, it just FELT like a weekend, because I didn't have anything to do. I mean, I saw Land of the Lost (spoiler alert! my favorite part was the twenty minute nap I took halfway into it) and worked some on Tuesday, but other than that it's pretty much been a weekend.

3. Anyway. This week(end?) has been pretty awesome.I got two months of a paid account from cashewdani , which I'M FREAKING EXCITED ABOUT even though I haven't updated since it happened two days ago. I will go searching for awesome icons (including some Saved by the Bell icons) ASAP, I SWEAR.

4. TOMORROW IS THE PREMIERE OF PUBLIC ENEMIES. Y'all don't even know how excited I really am. Capslock does NOTHING to capture the inner flailing. Yesterday, while I was at Guest Services and subsequently answering the phone, I got approximately 473897967231 calls about the premiere, most of which were along the lines of, "I know it's invite only, but can I get in? Please?" or else, "Is there a premiere? I heard everyone was going to be there. How do I meet Johnny?" (apparently no one's looking forward to Christian Bale). I gave them all the information I had, after I'd asked to be told information, which was: There are no tickets, it's invite only; the theater will be closed for the premiere; we'll be closing down the streets from four 'til eight; I don't know when the premiere is; I don't know who'll be there. But I had people who knew more than I did (one lady said she'd heard on the radio that everyone was going to be there) sometimes, so I just had to fake it. OH MY GOD I JUST LOOKED AT THE IMDB PAGE FOR PUBLIC ENEMIES AND NOW I'M EVEN MORE EXCITED. Lili Taylor! Giovanni Ribisi! Channing Tatum! BILLY CRUDUP!! RORY COCHRANE!! LEELEE SOBIESKI!!! Haha, I should probably not be the most excited about Leelee Sobieski, buuuuut I used to be a really big fan of Elijah Wood and so I loooooooooved Deep Impact when it came out. ALSO, do you think Rory Cochrane would get mad if I quoted Empire Records to him? Like, I'm maybe planning on taking my phone with me while I'm working (which I NEVER do because I'm a goody two shoes) and if I got a picture and yelled, "Damn the man! Save the Empire!" or, if it wasn't right, said, "Not entirely perfect," and then had to take it again, do you think he'd laugh, or be really annoyed?

4b. SO, since the streets are closing down at four and I work at five-thirty, I might head to work extra early (see a movie? or just wander around and say, "Not on Rex Manning day!"?) because I don't know what the scene's gonna look like tomorrow at five. I'm just remembering the news footage I saw about the Ocean's Thirteen premiere from, like, three years ago, and it seemed pretty mob-tastic. Is Johnny Depp more mob-worthy than George Clooney?

5. Other things that now pale in comparison to quoting Almost Famous and Empire Records all day: a) I got my replacement phone! It's weird, no text messages or previous calls, but it looks just like my other phone. b) I got LInes, Vines and Trying Times! I don't know what a glockenspiel is (oh. it's that.) but Nick plays it and about 87 other instruments. ALSO, there's a special offer for up to $10 off the 3D DVD. And I get 10% off my next jonasbrothersmerch.com purchase (because I spend so much time there). c) I'm most likely heading over to see Michael Showalter on Sunday. I'm pretty excited, even if it's not free. d) I uploaded an animated Jonas mood theme made by funsized from 4prongedfork . The last time I tried to do a special mood theme was an Alias one in 2005, so let's see if this works, shall we?

tv, public enemies, empire records, almost famous, kevin's comedic timing, movies, work, laura, jobros
