I've been kind of down about various things lately and that means I haven't really had the energy for a lot of hardcore flailing.
In an effort to curb my own excessive emo, here's a list of things that are making me happy at the moment.
1. ZACHARY QUINTO'S SLEEP-SEXY MORNING VOICE:

Um, so you know what you've been missing in your life? How bb Quinto sounds just after he rolls out of bed, that's what. His low sleep-sexy voice just about kills me. Take his coffee away, please. This video is from the breakfast meet & greet from the Las Vegas Star Trek convention two weekends ago. Zach is sporting fug hat #2, the one ontd_startrek loves to hate. Oh, and Jacob Kogan plays bb!Spock in the new movie. He's so precious.
I love the second question so much, not because of the question, but because zq is half-awake and therefore less than his usual eloquent self when he answers. But...this probably has more to do with the clarity of the question than anything. It's still great to watch him go 'wh-huh?' and chug his coffee.
Also the fact that he still doesn't quite know what to do with his fangirls' enthusiasm is so endearing to me.
2. BRENDON URIE & PETE WENTZ EXCHANGING DOUBLE ENTENDRES OVER TWITTER:

um. what. Guh, I love him so much. His tweets are still mildly entertaining while certain other people are grating me to no end. Dude, I could so go for some Pete/Brendon even if it's just bromancy friendship fic.
3. INTERVENTION SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME, BUT IT'S LIKE WATCHING A CAR CRASH INTO...HELL. CANNOT LOOK AWAY.
So this show has taught me one thing. I, Jennifer Lynn, must never do drugs hard drugs or inhalants or any of that stuff because I have a very addictive personality. If I do, you will surely never see me again. If you know me, you know this is true. buildyourwalls and I talk about this all the time. Is there an intervention for the internet? I might needs it.
Tonight, I watched an episode where two brothers would do about $400 worth of heroin everyday, and were selling $1000 worth of it OUT OF THEIR PARENTS' HOUSE EVERYDAY. Their parents were so far in denial about the whole thing that I was literally screaming at the television.
If you've never watched the show before, meet Allison. She...freaks me the fuck out. And will change your life.
4. THE EPICNESS THAT IS STAR TREK RPS FIC:
You guys, I thought bandom was intimidating to write for. I just don't even know what to do with myself when I finish some of these fics. No, seriously. They are that good.

5. MAINLINING HEROES AND ITS GLORIOUSLY CONVOLUTED TIME LINES
I like my bb Sylar as a non-redemptive serial killer, kthanx.
I'm nearly caught up with the three past seasons now, but I keep getting sidetracked when I find a pairing I like. (I've jumped from Sylar/Mohinder to Sylar/Elle to Sylar/Luke in the past three weeks. Huh. There's a distinct trend there. Shut up.) And when I find a pairing I like, I start mainlining the fic that said pairing goes with. It's a vicious cycle that's making it difficult to finish. Season 1 owns the other two in terms of story and plot, but two of my favorite pairings don't show up until Season 3. It's weird.
I'm excited for season 4 in September. It's been about two years since I've followed a TV show from week to week...so we'll see how that goes.
