My sister and another friend of mine went with me. They both go to George Mason University in Virginia and I’m home for the summer, so I drove to Mason and picked them up on the way to Maryland for the show. Neither one of them are huge fangirls, but they’re usually pretty tolerant of my flailing, so that works out.
The Glorious Board of Set Times. We had such a hard time finding this thing. It was on the opposite side of the venue from the entrance we came in and of course no one that worked there knew where it was. Apparently that's just too much to ask.
We got there around noon, and there really wasn’t anyone we wanted to see until closer to four, so we walked around and did some shopping for a while.
Angels & Airwaves
This was the first band we watched and it was my first time seeing them. They were good, but I wasn’t all that impressed. It was sort of exactly what I expected from them, which isn’t bad I guess.

Oh but wait, you have to meet my future husband. You guys, he is absolutely gorgeous. I was staring at him more that I was paying attention to the music. His name is David Kennedy. And I may or may not have looked up his name solely for this review. shhh. and I did not see a ring on his finger. That makes my plan a bit easier. Plus his guitar is hot.
Random picture of the Cobra signing! Yeah, so the line was extremely long by the time we got over there so we said screw it, but I cheated and took a picture of Gabe while he was standing up in the booth. I think everyone was there though. I could definitely see Ryland and Vicky.
After that we went back to the FBR merch tents to see if I could get Ashley her hoodie. They were definitely sold out, and I felt really bad, but as I was texting her to see what else she wanted instead, the dude came back from the truck with a ton of merch. And I snagged a hoodie in the right size and everything!! (I'll get it in the mail as soon as I can, bb. Probably Saturday?) I also got one of the color changing Cobra shirts. It’s pretty much the most amusing thing ever. No, seriously.
Oh and, we figured out that they weren’t giving out wrist bands for alcohol, so I bought beer for all three of us even though my sister and my friend are only 20. Umm drinking under age is not cool, m'kay. Unless you can get away with it. I’m such a terrible person, but it was fun anyway.
The Academy Is...
So The Academy is… was up next, and my sister and my friend don’t really care for them, so I dove into the pit by myself. I almost preferred that though, because it’s so much easier to get to the front when you don’t have to worry about getting anyone else up to the front with you. And I did get to the font! All the way to the center barrier!!! My Academy pictures and videos turned out the best out of all of the bands so enjoy.
*shakes fist at the drummers* They are so hard to get pictures of! This is the best one I could get of Butcher.

This one is probably my favorite. He's so pretty.
Oh and the back of Beckett's right arm randomly started bleeding towards the end. I don't have any good pictures, but it looked like he scraped it on something. He didn't say anything about it, so I don't even think he noticed but I wanted to cuddle him anyway. :(

That boy gives the most amazing eye sex, and this is proof. This song is definitely growing on me. The video turned out amazing and it's probably the best one I managed to get. The sound is near perfect.
The other new song. I'm not sure what it's called, but I'm sure someone on my fist knows. Help me out? :)

Jack's Mannequin
I don’t know much about the dudes in this band, but I’ve been a fan of their music for a while. They sounded really good and Dark Blue is one of my favorite songs. They played right before Cobra, so most of my time was spent singing along and inching my way up to the front of the pit.
Beckett came out on stage and sang their new song with them.

Gabe: We’re touring with Forever the Sickest Kids in the Fall and we’re going to have a gay old time. *smirks*

Okay I'm going to break here and rant about the only thing I hate about going to shows. Bitches that think they own the world.
So anyone that's ever been in a pit of any kind knows that you have no room to breathe let alone move. So this chick accuses my sister of trying to steal some drum sticks out of her friends purse. My sister kind of looked at her in shock and told her that's not at all what she was doing at all, but the idiot kept going on about it.
Now, if you guys didn't know, my sister is one of the few people I would throw down for in an instant, no questions asked. I was calm, but I did say something like, "Um even if my sister cared in the first place about fucking drum sticks, how the hell would she know what band they came from?" The girl didn't really say anything and nothing really happened after that, but I was still pissed. We managed to push in front of them anyway, so that was awesome.
Again with the drummer thing. But NATE. My love for this boy has been growing a lot lately. His nose piercing is fucking hot.
Okay, fine I admit it. She's actually really pretty in this one. And ALEX. You were too far away from me, bb. It wasn't fair.
Anyone know what his shirt means? Apparently it's FBR_T related. huh.
More pole dancing! The other side of the stage this time, though. Heh.
Okay so unfortunately there was no Snakes on a Plane threesome, but there was Gabe/William action. I have video!!! It’s a bit jerky in the beginning, but there are some good moments towards the end, I’ve re-watched the part where Beckett runs his hand over Gabe’s side and along his back like 50 times. NUghhhh. These boys. They like to tease us...
There's about a minute of Gabe's special brand of commentary. He mentions something about a fangirl (It amuses me that he use that term, btw) but I can't make out what he says in the very beginning. Prostitute? Idk, maybe you guys can figure it out.
Anyway the sound is perfect, and you can see where I almost die at the end. But check out the Gabillam action around 3:30 till the end. It makes me squee. Beckett's hand! HIS HAND!
Gym Class Heroes
So they closed Warped and were on the the other main stage. We decided to stick to the back for them.
I had such a good time, and I knew I would, because how could I not when there’s a Gabriel and a Beckett involved? ♥ Now, who wants to flail with me?
