Peaks and Valleys
Here is my weekend in a nutshell....
Friday - Work stunk as I tried to figure out somebody else's fuck up. Although the highlight was me getting pranked into drinking flat Jolt cola which gave me a good laugh about it and got me to relax. Vengeance will be mine. Went to the coffeehouse and talked with the usual crew as it seems the numbers are dwindling again. Got home at 1 a.m. with a message from one Kerissa King bitching to me about not having a cell phone. Considering she hardly ever calls me, I don't see why I need one that bad. I called her back and what do I get.....voice-mail. Does she call me back. Nope. Went to bed.
Saturday - Unsuccessfully tried burn Drive on DVD. I've got to figure out what's going on there. Low turnout at Temple. Met See'al's (not spelling that right in the slightest) baby's mama who introduces herself with the phrase "I haven't gotten laid in 24 months". She begins to try and woo me with stuff like "If you went to the Red Iguana you wouldn't last 30 minutes until some girl would take you home" and "It's because you're so cute baby". Granted, I don't take compliments well coupled with the fact that she's drunk as hell (or buzzed by her "expert" opinion) led me to turn her down, repeatedly and I mean repeatedly. I told her in a nice way that I don't sleep with my friends exes. She says she has that rule too, but we just met. So, it doesn't count. I stood my ground as I was not going to go home with a strange woman who makes my spider-sense tingle and by that I mean she's a crazy bitch. I kept playing the nice guy , but part of me wanted to say "I love your perfume. What is that Desperation from Calvin Klein." Thankfully, I went home alone and went to bed.
Sunday - Gamed with my usual posse. Our usual gaming hideout went under and we have now been forced to game at the Barony in Oak Ridge. Ran into Brian Ketner. He wants to start a group for a wacked out wargame involving trains, vampires, zombies, gunslingers, and mad scientists. I told him I was down. Went home and did some laundry and went to bed.
Monday - Still dealing with somebody else's fuck up at work. Went to aikido and probably had the worst night since I started going. Man, it was bad. I need to start practicing a whole lot more as tonight just killed me how bad I was. Now, I am going to bed.
