I thought I would try something different this time and share with you my top ten lessons learned from 2005.
  • Just because your skills are superior doesn't mean you're a good fit.
  • Thinking "What would Jack O'Neill do?" is only good for a smart-ass remark.
  • Being a mystery is cool, being a complete and utter enigma is pointless.
  • Sometimes the lower level jobs are the most fun.
  • Knowing how to talk to women is important, but pales in comparison to knowing how to talk to a woman.
  • Opposites attract, but not for very long.
  • Being an unemotional bastard will help you out in the short run, but you can't be like that all the time.
  • It's called self-confidence for a reason.
  • It's the little things.
  • Know matter how hard you want to try, you can't protect everybody all the time.

Happy New Year folks.

Off to the coffeehouse.
