Writing Assignments of JEE 2009 I
There comes the yearly tradition that comes from 2003.
Like any previous years, all requires writing an 800-character essay to the topic, with your own title and allowed to be any kind of writing, except poetry. All question instructions that pertains to the above is removed from my translation. The topics given here are mine.
National I: Should we teach the bunny to swim?
Bunny may be the spring champion in the Animal Games, but swimming has never his cup of tea; it wasn't the first time when the Wolf chased him to the river. The Animal Administration sent him to the Duck's swimming class so that he could have a well-rounded development, together with the Dog, the Turtle, and the squirrel.
Dog and Turtle went on quite well, but the other two never got how to swim. Duck is losing his patience. "Quack! I can swim with four legs and you can't with two? Success is 90% sweat!"
The elders were divided over the issue. Frog, political analyst: "Bunnies are supposed to run! Why should we concentrate at the weakness but not the talent?" Crane, philosopher: "There's more than one skill to live! Bunnies dig since they don't swim, and squirrels climb since they don't swim."
National II: Necessity is the Mother of Invention
