Could O’Neill have done it had he looked like a child? If he’d been flesh and blood not metal and energy. If he’d been a human child maybe the decision wouldn’t have been mine.
He was a child; deprived and alone. I was his first contact with humanity and look what I taught him.
I chose to follow that order, fifth learnt from me how low humanity can sink.
Part of me prays he never gets out so I’ll never see the monster I helped create, another part wants to run back to free him just to elevate my guilt.

She would never have betrayed him on her own; it was my order, my influence that made her deceive him. There was no time to save him, but she would have tried. He should have been after me, but he’d trusted her and at my request she had abused that.
What he did to her she will not say, there are no physical signs bar exhaustion but her eyes reveal a fear, a guilt.
I am responsible, she acted on my order.
I am guilty of betraying fifth, I believe it was right, I don’t know what she thinks anymore.
