Jonas lifted the flower, pinching the stem between his thumb and forefinger. He twisted it, watching as Samantha Carter appeared and disappeared between its twirling pink petals. She turned, smiling when she saw him. "What are you doing?"
"Looking at a flower."
She chuckled. "I don't like flowers."
"Not even pink ones?"
"Especially pink ones."
He looked crushed and stood up. "Well, what if you make an exception this time?"
"Why would I do that?"
"For every flower you take, I give you a kiss."
