The fog was nearly too heavy to drive through; more smoke than weather. A steady rain drummed on the roof of the car.
Janet Fraiser, currently in half of a black-and-gray kitty cat costume, lay in the backseat and brushed the back of one hand across her whiskers. Sam Carter, mostly dressed in a policeman's uniform, looked through the glass. "The storm doesn't look like it's going to let up any time soon..."
"No, it doesn't," Janet agreed. "Good thing, too. You're not done frisking me."
"Frisky," Sam smirked.
"Mrow," Janet said as she lowered herself back to the seat.
