Title: Women Who Breed Together, Bleed Together

Sam knew the urban legend that “women who breed together, bleed together” was untrue, and that statistical factors presented a very rational explanation, but the terror accompanying in sync cycles in loving couples couldn’t be explained by logic. She was already in the doghouse this morning for commenting that Janet looked a little bloated coming out of the shower. Tonight, there would be long, romantic massages and chamomile tea, but today, multiple planets would fall victim to dual feminine wrath.
Janet stared at her over morning coffee. “Buttface.”
“Brat.”
“Bitch.”
“Bimbo.”
Janet growled. Sam snarled.
They dove for the chocolate.
