The Confederate States of America
I'm downloading (don't look at me like that, it was impossible to find anywhere and I don't have the patience to order it from Amazon or E-bay), a mockumentary about what would have happened if the South had won the War of Secession -and slavery was still legal. It deals with an alternate history of the world -such as Hitler winning, and the Japanese being CSA (Confederate States of America) allies during WWII, but also with a different pop-culture that leaks down to TV commercials.
It should be ready in half an hour, so maybe I'll add some edits to this post later. So far, it looks amazingly thought-provoking
The fact that the Slave Shopping Network girls look a helluva lot like the people I orevent from spending thousands of dollars per day in African countries work with just helps the surreal feeling.
PS - What does it mean "Gleamin' yo teefus!" ??
