Saw Sin City friday night. It was quite an experience...when I got home I pulled out all my comics to see how close the story and movie paralleled, and I can say this is the most accurate translation of comic book to movie I have ever seen. The dialogue was true to the written version, and so many individual scenes are ripped right off the page. Its very gritty crime noir, hyper-violent, bordering on super-heroics at times. Everybody's in it and they look fantastic. Mickey Rourke as Marv is a cross between Batman and Charles Manson, and he's amazing. Bruce Willis does his standard grizzled cop, but it fits. I want to eat Jessica Alba with a spoon. Everyone will NOT enjoy this movie...but I did.
